Pig Farm

The story takes place on a large and nearly bankrupt pig farm of nearly 15,000 hogs in an unnamed American state, and centers mainly on the three characters who are struggling to keep it afloat; Tom, Tina and their hired hand Tim, on recent release from juvenile detention. In an act of desperacy, Tom has been dumping waste into a nearby river, and his ensuing guilt has driven him to alcoholism. In the meantime, the broody Tina has been making googly eyes at Tim, who is very much tempted by her flirtations. However, the simmering tensions all but explode with the arrival of gun-toting environmental agency officer Teddy O’Hare, making everything go (pot)belly up.
